Description
The Management Accountant's responsibilities include:
- Produce monthly management accounts, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets for various entities.
- Lead month-end processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Maintain prepayment, accrual, stock, and fixed asset schedules, including depreciation calculations.
- Prepare and post journals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities alongside the Financial Controller.
- Deliver financial analysis and assist with performance reporting for online and overseas business operations.
- Prepare VAT returns, support cashflow reporting, assist with audits, and contribute to pricing analysis for international markets.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in financial reporting and budgeting within the retail industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with different teams.
Job Offer
