Our client, a fast moving and interesting business in Hinckley, are looking for a purchase ledger clerk to come and start ASAP for a period of approximately 3 months, although this could go on for longer or become permanent. This is an office based role. Client Details A company based in the manufacturing sector, located in Hinckley. This is an office based role with no home working. Description Process supplier invoices and match them to purchase orders. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies. Prepare and process payment runs in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions. Handle queries from suppliers regarding payments and invoices. Assist with month-end closing tasks related to the purchase ledger. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Provide support to the wider Accounting & Finance team as needed.Profile A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have: Experience working within an accounts or finance-related role. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines. Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues.Job Offer An equivalent annual salary of £30-32,000 + holiday. Free parking on site. Hours are 8.30-5.
