We\βre hiring a Head of HR Shared Services to join our clients growing HR team during a pivotal time of transformation. Based in Manchester, this role offers the opportunity to design and build a standalone HR Shared Services function that delivers efficient, compliant, and effective support across the full employee lifecycle. Description Key Responsibilities: Design and embed HR processes that ensure operational excellence and legal compliance Lead the transition of key HR functions from Group support to an internal shared service model Oversee the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, contracts, changes, offboarding Optimise and support HR systems (HCM) implementation and continuous improvement Manage accurate and GDPR-compliant HR data, reporting and audit processes Deliver pensions, benefits, and payroll administration Drive performance, SLAs, and KPIs across the shared services team Partner closely with HRBPs and other internal teams for seamless service delivery Profile What We\βre Looking For: Proven leadership in a Head of HR Shared Services or HR Operations environment Expert knowledge of UK employment law, HR compliance, pensions, and benefits Strong experience with HRIS systems and process automation Demonstrated success during periods of significant organisational change Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills Organised, agile, and capable of meeting tight deadlines under pressure Experience working in a digital Retail / Tech / E-com would be highly advantageous Job Offer Why Join Us?
