The Head of Bids will oversee the end-to-end bid process, ensuring high-quality submissions that drive business success in the business services sector. Client Details A business services organisation with a HQ in the North, commutable from Greater Manchester. Description The key responsibilities for the Head of Bids position will include: Lead and manage the bid process from initial opportunity identification to final submission. Collaborate with internal teams to gather key information and develop compelling proposals. Ensure all bid documents are compliant, accurate, and meet client requirements. Develop and maintain a library of bid templates and resources. Monitor and report on bid outcomes and performance metrics. Train and mentor team members to enhance bid management capabilities. Identify areas for process improvement within the bid function. Work closely with the sales team to align bids with broader business strategies.Profile A successful Head of Bids should have: Proven experience managing the bid process in a business services environment. Strong organisational and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
