Description:
- Provide strategic leadership for the strategic asset & investment team, to contribute to the achievement of strategic priorities to deliver high quality services that include:
- Lead accountability for the £25m annual capital programme
- Lead accountability for developing the capital programme for the HRA 30 year business plan
- Lead accountability for ensuring the accurate and timely condition surveying of £1bn stock portfolio
- Lead accountability in developing and leading the delivery of Building Safety, Decent Homes, Zero Carbon and Environmental Works for £1bn portfolio
- Lead officer in developing the council's HRA strategic asset management and investment strategy and programme, working in partnership with the political and senior executive, partners, contractors and residents.
Profile: A successful Interim Head of Asset Management Investment should have:
- Significant social housing knowledge and understanding of public services delivered at a place level and the structural, legislative and policy context within which these services operate.
- An understanding of the national and regional policy context for local government and social housing
- Previous managerial experience within a social housing environment
