This is an interim, part time (c. 20 hours per week) role within West London. The ideal candidate will be available immediately or on short notice to commence this assignment.

  • Trading over 20+ years within the Utilities space
  • West London based - easy access via public transport as well as free parking on site
  • More than 200+ employees within the UK National as well as EMEA presence
  • £50mil annual revenue (2025)

Description:

  • Process multiple payrolls each pay period from initiation through to payment transmission.
  • Maintain the payroll system and records by gathering, calculating, verifying, and entering relevant data.
  • Calculate employee net pay based on time records, benefits, statutory requirements, and deductions.
  • Provide timely responses and resolutions to payroll-related queries from employees and internal stakeholders.
  • Follow established payroll policies, procedures, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in timesheets and payroll records.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee compensation information.
  • Liaise with relevant tax authorities as required.
  • Prepare payroll reports for internal documentation and management review.
  • Compile year-end or benefit-related submissions for review (e.g., taxable benefits or payroll adjustments).
  • Address audit queries related to payroll processes and records.

Profile:

  • Immediately available or on short notice
  • Happy for part time hours (20 hours ideally per week)
  • Happy to commute to the office - Hayes
  • Proficient (essential) end to end payroll exposure
  • Multi payroll exposure (very desirable)
  • Strong usage within Excel, Outlook etc.
  • Ideally manual calculations exposure
  • Proactive exposure

Job Offer:

  • Interim part time assignment 20 hours per week
  • Hayes - easy access via public transport as well as free parking on site
  • Hourly rate: From £16 per hour and above (dependent on the experience)
  • Minimum 6+ months assignment
