An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially driven Senior Sales Manager to join a well-established and growing manufacturer within the timber and wood products sector. Our client is a well-established and highly respected manufacturer and supplier of timber and wood-based products, serving OEM customers across the leisure, garden and construction-related sectors. With a strong reputation for quality, service and reliability, the business continues to invest in growth and market expansion across the UK.

This role will focus on developing relationships with OEM customers supplying into the leisure, garden and outdoor living markets, including sheds, fencing, garden buildings and related applications. This is a highly visible position combining new business development with strategic account management. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth, identifying new market opportunities and strengthening existing customer relationships.

The Senior Sales Manager will:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy across Northern UK
  • Generate new business opportunities with OEM manufacturers within the leisure, garden building, fencing and outdoor products sectors
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of established accounts
  • Identify new applications and routes to market for timber and wood-based products
  • Build strong relationships with key decision makers across purchasing, operations and senior leadership teams
  • Work closely with internal technical, production and customer service teams to ensure excellent customer delivery
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities
  • Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events and exhibitions
