We're looking for a Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator to join a friendly and supportive People team.

This is a varied role where you'll take ownership of the recruitment process from attraction through to onboarding, helping to attract great talent while ensuring every new starter has a positive introduction to the business.

Description

Managing the end-to-end recruitment process from advertising vacancies through to onboarding.

Writing and posting engaging job adverts across a range of recruitment platforms.

Screening applications and coordinating interviews.

Building strong relationships with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and provide regular updates.

Communicating with candidates throughout the recruitment process, including arranging interviews, providing feedback and managing offers.

Conducting interviews where appropriate.

Completing all pre-employment checks, including references, right to work, DBS, medicals and drug & alcohol testing where required.

Preparing contracts, offer letters and onboarding documentation.

Coordinating induction programmes to ensure new starters have a smooth onboarding experience.

Representing the business at recruitment events and careers fairs.

Profile

We're looking for someone who enjoys working at pace, has excellent attention to detail and genuinely enjoys helping businesses attract and retain great people.

You'll ideally have

At least two years' experience in an in-house recruitment or talent acquisition role.

A good understanding of recruitment legislation and best practice.

Excellent organisational and administrative skills.

Strong communication skills with the confidence to build relationships at all levels.

The ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities.

A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to travel between sites when required.

A full UK driving licence.

Job Offer

Salary between £30,000 and £33,000, dependent on the level of experience.

Excellent benefits package.

Permanent position based in Harrogate.
