As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of production equipment and machinery. Your day-to-day will involve diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and keeping everything in top condition to minimise downtime. Client Details This role is with a company based in Harrogate that operates within the FMCG industry. Description Duties will include; Planned and reactive maintenance on FMCG production machinery. Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems. Minimise downtime and maximise production efficiency. Diagnose faults on PLCs, drives, motors, conveyors and automated equipment. Support continuous improvement and engineering projects. Ensure compliance with health & safety and food manufacturing standards. Complete maintenance documentation and maintenance records. Work closely with production teams to ensure operational targets are achieved.Profile The successful candidate should have; Experience in maintaining machinery in an FMCG or similar manufacturing environment. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage time efficiently. Familiarity with health and safety standards in an engineering setting.Job Offer Salary is £52,600 Working 12 hour shifts on the following 28 day shift pattern: (Days - Rest - Nights) 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am Permanent position based in Harrogate.
