An exciting opportunity has arisen for a technically strong qualified accountant to join a well-established organisation on a 15-month fixed-term contract. Combining technical accounting, financial control and stakeholder engagement, the role offers broad exposure across reporting, compliance and governance activities within a growing and dynamic organisation.

Description
- Leading monthly and annual group consolidations across multiple entities.
- Preparing statutory financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Managing intercompany reconciliations and consolidation adjustments.
- Supporting board reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Owning group cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
- Managing treasury activities, including foreign exchange and banking relationships.
- Coordinating corporation tax and other compliance submissions with external advisers.
- Maintaining robust financial controls, governance frameworks and audit processes.
- Acting as the key contact for external auditors.
- Producing technical accounting papers and supporting financial control reviews.
- Line managing one team member.
- Supporting senior leadership with analysis, insights and continuous improvement initiatives.
Profile
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong technical accounting expertise and experience operating within a group reporting environment, available to start in September or October.
You will demonstrate:
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Previous experience preparing group consolidations and statutory accounts.
- Exposure to treasury, tax and financial control activities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-moving and evolving business.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach with a willingness to build relationships across the wider organisation.
Job Offer
- Salary of Β£65,000 - Β£85,000 depending on experience.
