Description
- Manage procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services.
- Coordinate with suppliers to maintain strong relationships and address any issues promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability to meet operational demands.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Analyse supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organisational policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align supply chain processes with business objectives.
- Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance to senior management.
Hybrid - Onsite 1/2 days/week
Profile
You will be an experienced Supply Chain/Demand Planning Manager ideally from a manufacturing background, along with:
- Proven experience in demand planning, supply chain, or supply management
- Demonstrable experience managing outsourced 3PL and/or 4PL logistics partners, including running scorecards and holding partners to agreed service levels
- Experience running or contributing to a formal S&OP process
- Line management experience, with the ability to direct, support, and develop a junior team member
- Strong stock and inventory management experience, including forecasting, replenishment planning, and stock reconciliation
- Numerically confident and financially literate, comfortable managing COGS, invoices, and cost data
- Experience with international trade documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists) is desirable
- High attention to detail with a process-driven, methodical, and structured approach
- Strong organisational and project management skills, able to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities
- Confident user of Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with warehouse management systems and Business Central is an advantage
- Clear, professional, and confident communication skills, with the credibility to manage senior supplier and partner relationships
