We are seeking a dedicated Fire Surveyor for a permanent position with a well-known housing association based in South Manchester - One Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest fire safety standards across a portfolio of residential properties in the Manchester area.

Description
- Conduct thorough reviews of FRA's carried out by caretakers/external providers on One Manchester's housing stock
- Producing detailed fire safety reports and recommendations
- Pre & Post works sign off
- Ensuring all properties comply with current fire safety regulations
- Providing fire safety advice and training to staff and residents
- Working closely with local fire services and other regulatory bodies
- Managing fire safety improvement projects from inception to completion
- Keeping up to date with changes in fire safety legislation and best practice
- Contributing to the development of organisational fire safety policies and procedures
- Supporting the wider building safety team
- Providing Technical Support
- Engaging with customers
- Contractor management
Profile
- Relevant Fire Safety, Surveying or Construction qualifications
- Experience working in a similar role for a residential provider
- Thorough understanding of fire safety within social housing
- Management of external contractors, consultants, customers and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent IT skills
Job Offer
- A competitive salary of up to £46,000
- 35 hrs/wk
