I'm seeking a Financial Analyst to join a growing, innovative fashion/retail company in Central London. This key role will oversee the transition from the parent company, managing P&L, budgeting, forecasting, cost efficiency, special issues, senior stakeholder communication, and strategic planning.
My client is an established SME, separating from its parent company and establishing its own domestic finance team in Central London. Known for their high-end fashion presence, commitment to quality products, and supportive, dynamic work environment, they are looking for someone who shares their ethos and can make a positive impact on their growing team.
The successful Financial Analyst will:
- Prepare financial reports with analysis for senior stakeholders
- Be responsible for budgeting and forecasting within the company
- Provide insights into the P&L with explanations on deviation from budget, and identifying areas for improvement
- Drive the business forward by collaborating with local and international teams
- Address special issues including impairment, leases, M&A and provisions
- Perform invoice and payment processing to ensure smooth cashflow, identifying areas to reduce costs
A successful Financial Analyst must have:
- Accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- A background in an SME Fashion/Retail brand over 5+ years
- Strong technical knowledge
- A proactive approach to their work, ability to adapt and show initiative from day 1
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
