- Description
- Prepare financial accounting information and regulatory submissions.
- Support reporting requirements for UK financial regulators.
- Assist with corporation tax and VAT preparation and submissions.
- Produce daily P&L reporting, analysis and commentary.
- Prepare financial statements and support external audits.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
- Investigate accounting queries and resolve issues with stakeholders.
- Contribute to finance projects, process improvements and documentation updates.
- Profile
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant (or QBE)
- Experience within the finance function of al banking organisation or broader Financial Services sector
- Ideally some knowledge of regulatory reporting or hedge accounting - Desirable
- Keen to do a broad hands on role, covering several different areas within the finance function
- Happy to offer support and guidance to junior team members
- Able to manage priorities, meet deadlines and operate in a controlled environment.
