Description
You will be the go-to person for Directors and Senior Leaders when they need to understand their budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
Help the Senior Leadership Team make confident decisions by turning financial data into clear, meaningful insight
Lead the annual budget setting and business planning process, making sure assumptions are sensible and well understood
Make sure budget holders have the right financial information to plan, manage and control their services
Support the development and improvement of our finance systems so they keep pace with the organisation as it grows
Support the Finance Director with the production of monthly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts
Ensure accruals, prepayments and income recognition are accurate and timely
Support the financial side of new projects, service developments and growth plans
Work with Directors to assess whether new ideas and projects are financially viable and sustainable
Liaise with professional advisers where needed to help projects move forward smoothly
Provide clear, targeted financial information to support governance and decision-making
Present financial information at Senior Leadership and Finance Committee meetings
Help ensure the organisation meets all charity law, company law and regulatory financial requirements
Profile
