About Our Client This role is within the public sector and is based in Reading. Job Description Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Provide detailed financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting. Support the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Review and analyse financial data to identify trends and variances. Help implement financial controls and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Work closely with senior finance professionals to support strategic planning activities. Respond to ad-hoc financial queries and provide insights as required. The Successful Applicant A successful Junior Finance Business Partner should have: A background in accounting or finance, with relevant qualifications or certifications. Experience in financial planning, budgeting, or analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial software and tools, with a good understanding of spreadsheets. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with different teams. An organised and detail-oriented approach to handling financial data. Knowledge of public sector financial regulations and practices is advantageous.
