The predicted salary is between 90000 - 110000 £ per year.

The role is responsible for the monthly consolidation process involving multi-national entities, and the associated financial reporting in accordance with IFRS. Working closely with the Finance Systems Accountants, the role is also responsible for producing the half-year and year-end consolidated financial statements.

Description:

  • Providing guidance to operational finance teams across the globe on group reporting requirements.
  • Ownership of the monthly, half-year, and year-end reporting packs.
  • Production of monthly consolidated management accounts and key performance indicators.
  • Collaborating with Strategic Business Unit Finance Directors on the ongoing development of consolidation and reporting processes.
  • Developing relationships with operations, senior management, and the wider finance function.
  • Production of half-year and year-end consolidated financial statements.
  • Supporting the Group Financial Controller with the half-year and year-end listed group reporting.
  • Supporting the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis with the production of the consolidated annual budget and the consolidated quarterly forecasts.
  • Supporting the Group Financial Controller with the preparation of technical accounting papers to support positions taken by the group.
  • Supporting the Group Financial Controller with the development and maintenance of appropriate group-wide accounting policies and guidance.
  • Leading and/or supporting the Group Financial Controller on projects as may occur from time to time.

Profile:

  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Experience in managing and developing finance teams.
