My client is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a professional team in the transport & distribution industry. The role requires a focus on accuracy and efficiency in supporting the accounting & finance department.
This opportunity is with a medium-sized organisation in the transport & distribution sector, known for its commitment to operational excellence and providing consistent financial support to its clients.
Responsibilities- Processing supplier invoices and ensuring accurate data entry.
- Managing payment runs and reconciling supplier statements.
- Resolving invoice queries efficiently and effectively.
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems for the accounting & finance department.
- Supporting the month-end process by preparing required reports and reconciliations.
- Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns and other financial documentation.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Providing general administrative support to the finance team as required.
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
- Experience in accounts payable.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
