Factory Operations Manager role in Leeds focussing on the production, logistics, maintenance and HSEQ - looking for someone with a strong data driven mindset and a collaborative leadership approach.

I am currently working in partnership with a highly successful Leeds based manufacturer who supply a large range of products to a stable and growing customer base. This leading UK business has experienced impressive growth in recent years and are looking for a Production Operations Manager / Factory Manager to maximise productivity, minimise cost and maintain quality through effective management of their manufacturing teams.

The Factory Operations Manager will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of production, logistics, maintenance and HSEQ across the site, and will have a huge impact on the strategic direction of the business.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strong, visible leadership across all site functions
  • Creating a culture of safety, accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
  • Ensuring clear communication of goals, KPIs, and business priorities across the site
  • Modelling a safety first culture, ensuring operational procedures, equipment and processes allow for a safe working environment for all employees
  • Driving continuous improvement activities and working alongside the MD to review strategic developments for the business's long-term success
