Description
- Develop a clear external relations operating model, including purpose, scope, role definitions, and workflows.
- Define team structure, capabilities, and skill sets required for an effective External Relations function.
- Recommend optimal alignment with internal teams across Policy, Business Services, Regulatory Supervision, Enterprise, Comms and Nations teams.
- Manage the change process required to establish new ways of working, including cultural shifts towards coordinated, "One Organisation" engagement.
- Support senior stakeholders to adopt new governance, decision‑making, and engagement processes.
- Identify risks and mitigations associated with the transition to a new External Relations function.
- Develop role profiles and responsibilities across the proposed External Relations function.
- Clarify ownership boundaries between External Relations and other teams (e.g., policy, regulatory, comms, operational).
- Establish governance structures for oversight, strategic alignment, and escalation.
- Lead a comprehensive stakeholder mapping exercise to understand who manages which relationships, where gaps exist, and how engagement should be prioritised.
- Design an account‑management model suited to the organisation's needs, including pilot and evaluation phases.
- Shape requirements for a CRM‑based stakeholder intelligence system, enabling strategic insight, trend analysis, and measurement.
