A growing and leading firm of chartered accountants based in Exeter is looking for a Senior Accountant - Professional Practices to join their team as a key addition to help develop their specific professional practices and legal sector service lines. You will carve a role within this growing sector of their business with excellent career progression prospects on offer.
This is a highly regarded, fast-growing and successful chartered firm of accountants based in Exeter. They act for a wide range of clients whilst having identified a key area of growth within their Professional Services and legal sector client base with structured plans and investment in place to further develop this service line. The firm are looking to bolster the team with individuals across the range of experience from part qualified, finalist and qualified level professionals, and there is genuine opportunity for progression on offer.
Joining as a Senior Accountant - Professional Practices based in their Exeter offices, you will act for a wide range of legal firms and have a hands-on role preparing and reviewing the completion of statutory annual accounts for both limited companies and limited liability partnerships, along with associated tax computations. There is opportunity for involvement in SAR and increasing involvement in advisory project work, identifying areas for tax planning and accounting advisory work with your clients. You will progress within this growing team and sector of the business with excellent prospects for career progression for career-focused professionals.
For this Senior Accountant - Professional Practices role, you may be any of part qualified, finalist or qualified ACA/ACCA, with up to one to two years or more post-qualified experience. You will have developed your career within accountancy practice working within firms of accountants of any size preparing year-end accounts, tax returns and other services. While experience of dealing with solicitors/legal profession sector clients would be advantageous, professionals only experienced with wider industry sector client backgrounds, outside of the legal profession are equally of interest. You will be looking for a career move with scope to progress and develop within your career post-qualification with increasing responsibility, client contact and technical progression on offer.
Circa £33,000 - £45,000 dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
