The Interim Project Finance Business Partner will perform a financial assurance exercise over our portfolio of contacts.

Client Details: Charity targeting Harm Reduction in Surrey / South West London

Description

Duration: 3-6 months (depending on pace and availability of data)

Reporting to and strategic oversight: Finance Director

Key relationships: People & Culture, Operations, Housing / Property, Commissioning

Project Portfolio (Summary)

  • Review of Contracts
  • Review of financial terms of our contracts
  • Documenting a financial summary of the contract
  • Checking invoicing is occurring per the contract terms (and has over the contract to date)
  • Reviewing costs allocated to the contract, are we providing the service as described (from a financial perspective)

Profile

A successful Interim Project Finance Business Partner should have:

  • Qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) or demonstrable equivalent experience in complex financial analysis
  • Strong experience in financial analysis using contracts, leases, grant agreements, and formal documentation as primary data sources
  • Proven ability to:
  • Attribute costs accurately
  • Identify cross-subsidy and unfunded liabilities
  • Produce Board-ready assurance outputs
  • High level of professional judgement, independence, and analytical rigour
  • Desirable

    • Experience within:
    • Supported housing
    • Temporary accommodation

  • Knowledge of:
    • Service charges
    • Housing Benefit / enhanced Housing Benefit
    • Agency management agreements with Registered Social Landlords
