Description
- Oversee all quality, safety, health, and environmental (QSHE) policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Develop and implement effective QSHE systems and strategies to enhance operational performance.
- Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on QSHE practices and responsibilities.
- Monitor and report on key QSHE metrics and performance indicators.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices within the manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with teams to address and resolve any QSHE-related issues promptly.
- Act as the key point of contact for external audits and regulatory bodies.
Profile
- Minimum 5 years' relevant industry experience.
- A member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
- A relevant professional qualification e.g. NEBOSH General Certificate.
- Experience of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management systems.
- Extensive knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and best practice.
- Holds appropriate professional qualification such as ISO lead auditor, OHSAS Chartered Environmentalist etc.
