Client Details Employee Relations Specialist Fixed-Term Contract to September 2027 Birmingham | Hybrid Working Salary: Up to £60,000 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join a well-established education organisation during a significant period of growth and change. This role will play a critical part in supporting the transfer of a school. As the subject matter expert for Employee Relations, you will lead all ER activity associated with the transfer, managing TUPE processes, consultations and complex employment matters, whilst building positive relationships with trade unions, employee representatives and senior stakeholders. Description Lead employee relations activity relating to a major academy transfer. Provide expert advice on TUPE, organisational change, employment law and risk management. Manage complex employee relations casework and consultation processes. Develop effective relationships with trade unions, school leaders and key stakeholders. Support post-transfer integration activity and future organisational change projects. Ensure a positive employee experience throughout periods of change. Profile To be successful in this role, you must have: Significant Employee Relations experience. Proven experience leading TUPE transfers and organisational change programmes. Strong trade union engagement and consultation experience. Excellent employment law knowledge. Previous experience within Education, Academy Trusts or the wider education sector.
