This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join a Financial Services organisation on a fixed-term contract. The role requires expertise in human resources, with a focus on employee relations, to support the organisation's operations in London.

Description
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters in line with employment law and organisational policies.
  • Manage a team of 4 direct reports at various stages in their ER career.
  • Manage complex casework including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance issues.
  • Advise and support managers on best practices to ensure consistency across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to implement strategies that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain effective policies and procedures related to employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation and organisational standards.
  • Deliver training and workshops to upskill managers in handling employee relations matters.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Human Resources department.
Profile
  • A successful Employee Relations Manager - FTC should have:
  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law and its application within the financial services industry within the UK.
  • Proven recent experience in managing complex employee relations cases within a UK-centric Financial Services setting.
  • The ability to advise and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • A relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience in human resources.
  • Be available on a maximum one (1) month notice period.
  • The ability to be office based, in the City of London, a minimum of two (2) days per week.
  • An existing right to live and work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
