EHS Specialist

I am seeking an experienced and dedicated Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join a leading manufacturer in Cambridge. In this role, you will support the EHS Manager in the ongoing development and maintenance of the site's EHS Management systems. This includes creating procedures, training programs, and strategies to ensure compliance with both corporate and legislative EHS standards. Description Keeping the site up to date with the latest Environmental, Health, Safety, and Process Safety (PSM) legislation and best practices. Overseeing Effluent Treatment Plant compliance, including coordinating water and air emissions sampling and analysis. Ensuring all records are maintained to meet regulatory and company standards. Managing controlled waste disposal, optimizing waste budget, and performing contractor and facility audits to ensure compliance. Maintaining detailed records of waste transactions. Overseeing the reporting system and internal systems to ensure full statutory compliance at both business and departmental levels. Developing and conducting EHS trainings.
