An Ecommerce Demand Planner is needed to manage demand forecasting and stock planning for online sales in the manufacturing sector. This role plays a key part in ensuring the supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently, meeting customer demand effectively. Description Develop and maintain accurate demand ecommerce forecasts using sales history, promotions, market trends and customer demand insights. Convert demand forecasts into purchasing and replenishment plans to ensure optimal stock availability while controlling inventory investment. Manage inventory performance, including stock health, stock cover, inventory turns, and reduction of excess and obsolete stock. Support new product launches, seasonal peaks and promotional activities through effective demand and supply planning. Contribute to weekly and monthly S&OP processes by preparing reporting, highlighting risks, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams to align forecasts with retailer demand plans and business priorities. Produce and analyse key planning KPIs while driving continuous process improvements.Profile A successful Ecommerce Demand Planner should have: Experience in demand planning or inventory planning, ideally within ecommerce or supply chain roles. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to interpret sales data and forecast demand effectively. Proficiency in Excel and relevant software, and tools for demand planning. Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
