This is an exciting opportunity for a Generalist / People Operations Advisor to contribute to the success of a well-established logistics organisation. You will play a key role in supporting the Human Resources department.
This is a broad, hands-on role where you'll partner with managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle - helping to build high-performing, engaged and compliant teams.
Description- Supporting managers with a wide range of people matters and employee relations cases.
- Providing practical HR advice and guidance to employees and leadership teams.
- Managing recruitment and onboarding activity, including ATS administration.
- Supporting performance management, appraisals and probation processes.
- Assisting with HR reporting, analytics and HRIS administration.
- Supporting employee engagement, training and development initiatives.
- Ensuring HR policies and processes remain compliant and consistently applied.
- Supporting payroll administration, family leave processes and wider HR operations.
- Helping drive a positive employee experience across multiple business units.
- A successful HR Generalist / People Operations Advisor should have:
- 5+ years' experience in a generalist HR role.
- Strong employee relations and stakeholder management experience.
- Previous logistics, transport or operational environment experience is advantageous.
- Confident using HRIS systems and Excel.
- Strong communication, organisation and analytical skills.
- Able to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Adaptable, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-moving business.
