This is a practical, hands-on support position where you will assist the IT Manager with a variety of technology rollouts and equipment installations across the site.

Client Details

Our client is a well-established manufacturing business operating within a highly specialised engineering sector.

Due to a short-term project requirement, they are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic IT Support Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis until the end of the year.

Description

Key Responsibilities

Setting up laptops, monitors and workstations.

Installing and configuring display screens across production areas.

Assisting with B-Link device installations and setup.

Moving, organising and deploying IT equipment throughout the site.

Performing basic hardware checks and troubleshooting.

Supporting users with simple technology queries.

Assisting with IT stock management and equipment tracking.

Helping with workstation relocations and desk setups.

Working closely with the IT Manager on various site-wide projects.

Undertaking other ad hoc administrative and technical support tasks Profile

About You

Keen interest in IT, technology or technical environments.

Practical and hands-on approach.

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Reliable, punctual and professional.

Comfortable working onsite five days per week.

Able to follow instructions and work proactively.

Good communication skills.

Confident using computers and basic Microsoft applications.

Essential Requirements

Available to start immediately.

Available until at least the end of December 2026.

Must have at least one previous employment position (this cannot be your first job).

Able to work full-time hours onsite in Dunstable.

Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
