As a Finance Assistant in the life science industry, you'll help keep the accounting and finance operations running smoothly by managing day-to-day financial tasks. Based in Fife, this role will involve supporting the team with essential financial processes that contribute to the success of the organisation.

Description

  • Process invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with preparing financial reports and reconciliations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Manage and monitor accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Assist with budget tracking and cost analysis.
  • Respond to financial queries and provide accurate information to stakeholders.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date financial documentation.

Profile

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

  • A good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
