Description:
- Lead audits for large companies, groups and SMEs, taking responsibility for planning through to completion.
- Manage audit teams on-site and act as the primary point of contact for clients during engagements.
- Attend client premises for audit fieldwork and key meetings.
- Prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax computations for review by managers and partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues and third parties.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal processes while meeting deadlines.
- Supervise, coach and develop trainees and junior team members.
- Provide mentoring support to graduates and junior staff to aid their professional development.
- Contribute to networking and business development activities to support firm growth.
- Promote inclusive working practices and collaborative team development.
Profile:
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Strong experience within practice, particularly in audit with exposure to leading assignments.
- Experience managing audits from planning through to completion.
- Confident in a client-facing role with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong technical knowledge of audit, accounts preparation and compliance.
- Experience supervising and developing junior staff.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, professional approach.
- Solid IT skills and familiarity with relevant accounting software.
