Michael Page Technology is proud to be partnered on an exclusive basis with one of our long standing clients in the manufacturing space, as they look to expand their IT function. Due to ongoing demand, they are now hiring for an interim 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join the team and provide expert end-user support across both Microsoft and Mac technologies.
We are representing a global manufacturing business that is continuing to enjoy significant growth, with further exciting expansion plans over 2026. The business is a market leader, who has completed a number of successful acquisitions and has invested heavily into the UK business. With an innovative product range, the business has become renowned for their ongoing focus on green solutions and having a positive impact on the environment.
As the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for 1st and 2nd line support of end users on both a remote and on-site basis. The role will predominantly cover EUC across both Microsoft and Mac technologies. This will include:
- Office365
- Active Directory
- Windows 10 and 11
- iOS devices
In addition to the core elements of EUC, you will also support networking infrastructure, covering LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi. The role will operate on a hybrid basis, and whilst there will be elements of remote support, you will also travel on a regular basis to sites across the north of England, including Leeds, Doncaster and Hull.
As the successful candidate for the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer position, you will have hands-on commercial experience in the following technologies:
- Windows 10 and 11
- Office365
- Active Directory
- LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi
- Mobile support of iOS and Android devices
In addition, you will have:
- A full UK driving license
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven track record working in a global IT Team
Hybrid role with remote responsibilities and occasional travel between sites across Leeds, Doncaster and Hull regions. (Full Driving License is required). Duration of 3-6 months (Likely extensions). Β£180-Β£200 per day (Inside IR35).
