Our client, a 1.2 million T/O organisation in Derby, is looking for a bookkeeper to start asap.

This is a not-for-profit organisation based in Derby that supports meaningful initiatives to make a positive impact. As a small-sized organisation, they are focused on delivering high-quality services with a dedicated team.

Description

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers in line with organisational policies.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently and accurately.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as needed.
  • Payroll administration for all staff.
  • Monitor and manage petty cash transactions.
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team.

Profile

  • A successful Bookkeeper should have:
