This Strategic HR Business Partner role partners with senior leaders to deliver workforce planning, organisational change and people strategies across a complex, unionised environment. The successful candidate will lead on consultations, manage complex employee relations matters, and provide expert HR advice to support a medical workforce while driving organisational objectives.

Compensation & Working Hours

  • Salary: £58,266 FTE (£29,133 pro‑rata)
  • Contract: Permanent, 0.5 FTE
  • Hours: Approximately 18.5 hours per week (based on a 37‑hour full‑time week)
  • Flexibility: Hours can be worked flexibly, with consideration given to candidates seeking to work 3 days per week
  • Location: Wolverhampton (2‑3 days per week onsite)

Qualifications

  • Significant experience operating as an HR Business Partner
  • Experience working with a medical workforce and/or within the NHS (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and consultation processes
  • Proven experience of workforce planning and organisational change
  • Experience working within a unionised environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance operational and organisational priorities
