We're partnering with a growing organisation within the energy sector that is looking to appoint a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join its finance team in Cwmbran. Description The Role Reporting to a supportive Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial information, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing insight to help drive business performance. This position offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to develop within a dynamic and fast-growing industry. Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accounts Posting accruals, prepayments and journals Balance sheet reconciliations Variance analysis and commentary Assisting with budgeting and forecasting cycles Producing KPI reports and financial analysis Business partnering with operational stakeholders Supporting year-end audit processes Identifying and implementing process improvements Assisting with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis Profile About You AAT qualified and currently studying ACCA or CIMA, or already part-qualified Previous experience within a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant or Assistant Accountant role Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders across the business Motivated to progress within a commercial finance environment Job Offer What's on Offer? ✅ Competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 ✅ ACCA/CIMA study support ✅ Hybrid working arrangements ✅ Career progression opportunities ✅ Exposure to senior finance stakeholders ✅ Generous benefits package ✅ Modern office environment in Cwmbran ✅ Supportive and collaborative culture
