Description
- Prepare and review financial statements in adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to guide strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including preparing VAT returns and liaising with tax authorities.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Provide financial advice and support to key stakeholders within the organisation.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis within a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
Job Offer
£60k - £65k, plus bonus
