Description
- Manage the month-end close process, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead balance sheet reconciliations, resolving queries and ensuring full transparency of financial positions.
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including allocation and reconciliation of key accounts.
- Oversee intercompany and related party reconciliations, ensuring balances are reviewed and confirmed monthly.
- Produce management information and ad-hoc reports to support business decision-making.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, group finance, and auditors, supporting audit and compliance requirements.
- Drive process improvements and system optimisation, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and controls.
- Maintain accurate records across financial systems and ensure adherence to internal controls and policies.
Profile
- Qualified or part-qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with strong finance and accounting experience.
- Proven experience in month-end close, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Strong Excel and systems skills, with the ability to manage data across multiple platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage with stakeholders across the business.
