A successful accountancy practice based in Truro is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team preparing year end accounts, tax compliance across both personal and corporate tax, along with wider responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to progress within this successful firm.

Client Details: Based in Truro, this well established and successful firm acts for a wide range of clients across varying industries and turnover, encompassing sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, SMEs, and OMBs. The firm has a great long-standing reputation and some very long-serving team members, offering a highly supportive and team-focused culture and environment. Flexible working hours and a mix of home to office working are available.

Description: Joining as Senior Accountant based from the firm's Truro offices, you will be responsible for the preparation of year end accounts and personal and corporate tax compliance. Along with this, you will have a clear opportunity to progress, taking on increasing responsibility, assisting with the development of junior staff, reviewing work, and acting in a mentoring and training capacity. You will also have scope to take on increasing client contracts and responsibilities, working with the management and wider partner team on project planning and advisory project work as you develop in your role within this highly successful firm of chartered accountants.

Profile: For this Senior Accountant role, you may be qualified or part-qualified across any of AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA, etc., or have developed your career through experience only to date, with a career background within accounts/tax and general accountancy practice service delivery to a wide range of sole trade, partnership, and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment. You will have developed your career to around the Senior Accountant level and be looking for a challenging new career opportunity. Full or part-time working hours can be explored, mouldable around the preferences of the right candidate, with a mix of home to office and hybrid working.
