This role owns legal operations and company secretarial across a multi-entity group, acting as the central point of control for compliance, documentation and corporate processes. Our client is a central management platform supporting a group of affiliated businesses operating across venture building, financial advisory and strategic projects. The organisation provides shared legal, corporate and operational infrastructure across a growing, multi-entity group.
They are seeking a Legal Operations Associate to take ownership of company secretarial and legal operations across the group. This is a high-responsibility, execution-focused role offering early exposure to transactions, corporate structuring and live commercial activity within a fast-paced environment. This opportunity will suit a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, taking ownership of critical processes and operating with a high degree of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities- Ownership of company secretarial and statutory compliance across multiple UK entities
- Management of Companies House filings, statutory registers and corporate records
- Legal documentation and contract management across the group
- Supporting entity formations, restructurings and corporate structuring initiatives
- Transaction support on financings, restructurings and related corporate activity
- Coordination with finance teams to ensure alignment between legal records, filings and accounts
- Maintenance of accurate, well-organised legal and corporate documentation
- All statutory filings and corporate records are accurate, complete and on time
- Legal and corporate structures across the group are clean and well-maintained
- Contracts and legal documentation are consistently in place and easy to retrieve
- Transactions are supported efficiently with minimal operational friction
The successful candidate is likely to have:
- Approximately 2 years' experience in a relevant role (commercial contracts management, legal operations with entity management)
- Ideally coming from an early stage and/or high growth start up and experience from one of the following:
- A law firm environment (paralegal or trainee level)
- A corporate services or company secretarial provider
- An in-house legal or operational role within a smaller or growing business
The role sits within a small, high-output team working across multiple live projects. The culture is output-driven and collaborative, with flexibility around deadlines driven by deal execution and business needs. In-office presence in London is expected to support close collaboration (this can be flexible depending on candidate location; however you will be expected to attend the office regularly).
The position offers a clear progression pathway toward a senior legal operations or company secretarial role at group level, with increasing exposure to transaction support, corporate structuring and strategic projects over time.
