The Commercial Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in driving financial decision-making and supporting procurement strategies in a fast-paced, international environment. This permanent position is based in Warrington and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing organisation.
My client are a fast-paced service provider, working with large-scale organisations across the globe. Leading the way across their sector, with trading revenue at circa Β£700 million, they work with some of the biggest brands and are committed to continually providing world class results.
In order to keep growing and delivering successfully, they recognise the important on providing accurate and efficient finance support & business partnering across the whole of the function hence why they have a full end-end finance department, headquartered in the North West.

Description
Financial Planning and Budgeting: Working closely with the business to develop targets and objectives that feed into the annual budgeting process.
Financial Forecasting: Develop accurate and reliable financial forecasts for short-term and long-term planning purposes. Working with historical data to develop trend analysis reporting that can be coupled with market, industry and business specific trends to project future Revenue and Gross Margin performance.
Client Profitability: Working with other Commercial finance team members integrate commercial metrics into Client profitability analysis. Identify and understand underlying drivers and clearly articulate Internal implications to stakeholders.
Client Savings: Working with other Commercial finance team members to establish a clear and concise method of reporting on Client Savings Performance against Contractual Target, highlighting any risk to ensure it is appropriately provisioned within the correct accounting period.
Financial Reporting: Working closely with Finance colleagues ensure that Supplier revenues are tracked, recorded and reported within the correct financial periods.
Productivity Metrics: Working alongside key stakeholders within the business to actively participate in the development of Supplier Strategic Planning activities. Developing plans for growth in spend and services, growth in categories served and preferred supplier compliance within categories to drive Revenue.
Working Capital: Cash flow management is a key aspect of the model, working collaboratively with the business to ensure there is a culture of \’cash is king\’ instilled across the organisation. Produce and integrate cash flow modelling within wider finance.
Process Improvement: Monitor activities to ensure that a continuous improvement mindset is being employed to enhance transactional buying activities, evaluating systems and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making capabilities.
Profile
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner/ FP&A/ Commercial Finance Manager role within as fast-paced, dynamic sector.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
