An international banking institution is seeking an Associate Director to join its Capital Markets team in London, supporting origination and execution activities across Financial Institutions and other key issuer clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a lean, collaborative team with exposure to complex funding transactions, senior client relationships and international capital markets.

The business provides funding and advisory solutions to a broad range of Financial Institution and corporate clients and has continued to invest in its capital markets platform to support future growth. Operating within a collaborative and internationally connected environment, the organisation offers employees the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders whilst gaining broad exposure across origination, execution and client relationship management activities.
Reporting to the Head of Capital Markets Europe, responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with Financial Institution clients and other issuers.
- Supporting origination activities across debt capital markets transactions.
- Preparing client presentations, market updates and financing proposals.
- Identifying funding opportunities and delivering strategic financing ideas.
- Analysing capital market developments and investor trends.
- Supporting the execution of public bond transactions across multiple markets.
- Working closely with syndicate, sales, trading and coverage teams.
- Contributing to new growth initiatives and business development activity.
- Building relationships with internal stakeholders including Risk, Legal and Credit functions.
- Ensuring the highest standards of governance, conduct and regulatory compliance.
We are interested in speaking with candidates who possess:
- Experience within Debt Capital Markets, FIG DCM or Capital Markets Origination.
- Exposure to Financial Institutions clients, including banks and/or insurers.
- Strong knowledge of fixed income markets and debt products.
- Experience supporting funding transactions or capital raising activities.
- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong presentation, analytical and communication capabilities.
- A proactive, commercial mindset with the ability to work independently.
- High levels of professionalism, attention to detail and personal accountability.
