We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Financial Crime Associate to join our Compliance and Financial Crime team. This role will play a key part in ensuring the continued effectiveness of our financial crime framework, supporting the identification, assessment and mitigation of money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions and fraud risks across a range of products and customer types. Client Details Retail & Institutional FX, Payments, multi-currency accounts & digital asset settlements provider. Description Financial Crime Risk Management Support the ongoing enhancement of the financial crime framework, policies and procedures. Provide advice and guidance on AML, sanctions, fraud and financial crime matters. Conduct financial crime risk assessments and contribute to the development of appropriate controls. Identify emerging risks and recommend mitigating actions. Customer Due Diligence & Investigations Review complex customer cases, undertaking enhanced due diligence where required. Investigate suspicious activity and escalate matters appropriately. Support the preparation and review of suspicious activity reports. Analyse financial crime alerts and ensure timely and risk-based resolution. Monitoring & Controls Conduct monitoring and oversight activities to assess the effectiveness of financial crime controls. Review transaction activity and investigate unusual behaviour. Assist in the design and enhancement of monitoring scenarios and detection capabilities. Support internal reviews, audits and regulatory requests. Profile Experience within Financial Crime, AML, Compliance, Risk or Investigations. Strong understanding of AML, sanctions, customer due diligence and transaction monitoring. Experience investigating complex financial crime cases. Experience supporting payment-related products or services. Exposure to digital assets, cryptoassets or emerging financial technologies.Job Offer Competitive day rate or equivalent salary
