The Head of Data Science will lead a high-performing team, delivering data-driven solutions that create commercial value and solve complex business challenges. You'll drive initiatives from concept to implementation, remove delivery barriers, and shape the organisation's data science capability and strategy.

Lead, develop and mentor the Data Science team, building a high-performing function that delivers measurable business impact. Define and execute the Data Science strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and commercial priorities. Drive the delivery of data science products and solutions from concept through to implementation and adoption. Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities where data science can solve problems, improve performance and create value. Lead cross-functional teams, bringing together data, technology, operations and business stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. Remove project barriers and delivery bottlenecks, ensuring initiatives are prioritised effectively and executed at pace. Establish scalable operating models, governance frameworks and ways of working that improve productivity, quality and delivery. Manage stakeholder relationships, resource planning and team growth, ensuring the Data Science function remains a trusted partner to the wider business.
A successful Head of Data Science should have:
