This role will form part of London Branch's Business Operations capability and will assist the Head of Business Management with the development of a sound and compliant business platform. The Team offers Structured Solutions capability that spans Hybrid Trading, Structuring and Structured Product Sales. The role will be responsible for recording, reconciling and tracking structured solutions transactions.

Description
Operational platform & business enablement:
- Working closely with Business Operations to record, maintain and update structured solutions repack transactions in excel both at inception and on an ongoing basis until the maturity of the transactions;
- Track and monitor cash inflows/outflows and events (rate fixes, ad hoc flows, etc) to ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting;
- Perform timely and accurate reconciliation of cash flows to the Murex system & Structured Deal Sheets;
- Perform timely and accurate reconciliation of cash flows to the bank statements;
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between the excel record, Murex and bank statements;
- Validating monthly reports for review and sign off by the Structured Solutions team;
- Ensure data integrity and implement controls within the spreadsheet, adhering to the Spreadsheet Risk Management Policy;
- Ensure all systems & processes operate smoothly and align with our quality standards;
- Maximize the efficiency of all business procedures;
- Track the progress of adhoc projects and workflow design; be committed to championing best practice, and positively supporting operational efficiency, business enablement and cultural changes.

Profile
A successful Business Operations Analyst should have:
- A solid educational background, ideally in business, finance, or a related field.
- Excellent / Advanced Level Excel as much of the analysis, data and reconciliation work will be done via Excel sheets. This will need to be demonstrable on the CV and will be spoken about at Interview.
- 2-5 years business management or product operations experience.
- Experience with reconciliations and proven experience using Excel for financial tracking and reporting.
- Experience working with large datasets and transactional data.
- Experience with and/or prior knowledge of financial instruments.
