As the AI & Data Enablement Lead, you'll drive the adoption, governance and responsible use of AI across the organisation, delivering innovative solutions that create measurable business value.

Lead the adoption of AI across the organisation, identifying opportunities that deliver measurable business value and operational efficiency. Partner with senior business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into practical AI-enabled solutions and delivery roadmaps. Establish and embed AI governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory, security, and ethical AI standards. Drive AI literacy, enablement and cultural change by promoting responsible and effective use of AI technologies across all business functions. Develop and maintain AI architecture standards, operating models, and best practices aligned with enterprise data strategy. Evaluate emerging AI technologies and provide strategic recommendations to support innovation and competitive advantage. Build strong relationships across business, technology, risk and compliance teams, acting as a trusted advisor on AI strategy and governance. Lead AI proof-of-concept initiatives from discovery through validation, supporting the transition of successful use cases into production solutions.
A successful AI & Data Enablement Lead should have:
- Proven experience in AI strategy, governance, architecture, digital transformation, or technology enablement within complex organisations.
- Strong track record of partnering with business stakeholders to identify, shape and deliver AI-driven opportunities and outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders, build consensus, and drive organisational change.
- Experience designing and implementing governance frameworks, standards, controls and operating models.
- Strong understanding of responsible AI principles, including ethics, risk management, regulatory compliance and governance.
- Experience working within regulated industries such as financial services, banking, insurance or similar environments.
- Deep knowledge of modern AI technologies, including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI assistants and machine learning concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft AI technologies, including Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, and familiarity with platforms such as Google Gemini, Vertex AI or AWS AI services, alongside a solid understanding of AI and data governance best practices.
Competitive salary ranging from £80,000 to £95,000 + Discretionary bonus, dependent on the level of experience. Comprehensive benefits package. Permanent / Hybrid role based in London.
