Description:
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimise financial performance.
- Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function.
- Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors.
Profile: A successful Junior Financial Controller should have:
- ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified or equivalent.
- Recent industry experience (travel, tourism or leisure industry desirable).
- Strong knowledge of FRS 102, UK PAYE, payroll, and compliance.
- Familiarity with group/consolidated reporting.
- Experience with FX revaluations.
- Working knowledge of Xero as the core system.
- Exposure to CRM integration/implementation.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Job Offer:
- £50,000 to £60,000 salary.
