An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR leader to join an international manufacturing organisation in a highly influential Senior HR Business Partner position.

Supporting a large, complex and unionised manufacturing operation, this role sits at the heart of the business and plays a critical part in shaping organisational performance, leadership capability and workforce strategy. This is far more than a traditional HRBP role. Working closely with the site Director and leadership team, you will help steer the people agenda through a period of continued transformation, ensuring organisational change is delivered successfully while maintaining strong employee and industrial relations.

As a trusted adviser to senior operational leaders, you will:

  • Partner with the site Director and senior leadership teams to shape and deliver the site's people strategy.
  • Drive organisational effectiveness, leadership capability and workforce planning.
  • Lead employee and industrial relations strategy across a unionised environment.
  • Support the successful delivery of ongoing business transformation and change initiatives.
  • Coach and challenge senior leaders to build high-performing teams and sustainable business outcomes.
  • Lead talent, succession and capability agendas to ensure future workforce readiness.
  • Manage and develop an established HR and learning team.
  • Influence business decision-making through insight, data and commercial acumen.

We're looking for a strategic Senior HR Business Partner who combines commercial thinking with strong operational credibility. You are likely to bring:

  • Significant HR Business Partner experience within manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, engineering, supply chain or another operationally intensive environment.
  • Strong industrial relations and union engagement experience.
  • A proven track record of partnering senior leaders through transformation, change and organisational development.
  • Experience coaching and influencing leadership teams.
  • Strong workforce planning, talent and succession experience.
  • The ability to balance long-term strategic priorities with day-to-day operational demands.
  • Credibility, resilience and personal impact, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
