Description
- Act as the lead commercial finance partner to the leadership team, providing strategic insight, challenge, and decision support.
- Support pricing, contract negotiations, customer profitability, and pipeline conversion analysis to drive margin improvement and growth.
- Monitor financial and margin performance, identifying risks, trends, and opportunities to optimise revenue, cost base, and operational efficiency.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modelling, ensuring robust analysis underpins business plans and investment decisions.
- Deliver timely, insightful management information and develop reporting tools and dashboards to improve visibility of performance and profitability.
- Partner with finance teams to ensure accurate and consistent reporting across the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Drive strong financial controls and continuous improvement across systems, reporting, and processes, contributing to transformation and digital initiatives.
- Lead and develop the commercial finance team, building capability, accountability, and a high-performance culture.
Profile
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Strong experience in financial leadership within a commercial environment.
- A proven track record of delivering financial insights and driving business performance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or logistics.
