Description:

  • Prepare and consolidate group financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS / UK GAAP
  • Lead on month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes across the group
  • Manage group consolidations, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations
  • Support the preparation of half-year and annual reports for senior stakeholders
  • Oversee and review statutory accounts for subsidiary entities
  • Partner with and provide support to subsidiary finance teams, ensuring alignment with group reporting requirements
  • Assist with the group audit process, acting as a key contact for external auditors
  • Monitor and analyse group financial performance, providing insights and recommendations
  • Maintain and enhance financial controls, policies and compliance across the group
  • Contribute to continuous improvements within the group finance function

Profile:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations
  • Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements within a multi-entity environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical and organised approach
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage and build relationships with a range of stakeholders, including senior management and subsidiary finance teams
