Description
Lead on the management and delivery of asbestos compliance activities across residential housing stock.
Undertake and commission asbestos surveys within occupied and void properties.
Provide technical guidance and expert advice on asbestos-related matters.
Review survey findings and determine appropriate remedial actions.
Oversee asbestos removal and remediation contractors, including quality inspections and site audits.
Attend project planning and mobilisation meetings with contractors and surveyors.
Manage asbestos-related complaints and resident enquiries professionally and sensitively.
Maintain accurate compliance records and asbestos registers.
Produce performance reports, monitor KPIs and identify compliance risks.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and industry best practice.
Support procurement and management of specialist asbestos contractors and consultants.
Contribute towards policy development, service improvement and compliance strategies.
Profile

BOHS P402 qualification.
BOHS P405 qualification.
Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and housing compliance requirements.
Experience undertaking, commissioning or managing asbestos surveys.
